Artists and craftsmen come to the village to sell and exhibit their creations. Local producers of wine will be both offering their wine for you to taste and sharing their expertise. Their wine will be for sale whether just one bottle or a case.

You will be able to sit and relax with a drink at the side of the river and during the evening there is a meal which will be a melon, grilled kebabs and sausages, and ice cream and of course some wine.

Sellers of bric à brac come to the village and along the Promenade des Jardins and in the shade of the plane trees offer their goods for sale.
 
At mid day there is meal of “fréginat”, a traditional Occitan meal, and during the whole day it is possible to buy drinks and snacks.
 
This Vide Grenier is an annual event and each year enjoys a considerable success. Professional Antique sellers set up their tables alongside local people who have emptied their attics - or the boot of their cars.
This is a time of the year when local people from Cascastel and the surrounding villages come to relax, exchange gossip and mix with the holidaymakers as well as browsing amongst the goods set out on tables or on cloths spread on the floor. There is always the chance of buying something cheaply and finding that it is an extremely valuable antique!
This year it is hoped to provide a guided tour of the old part of the village.
